Konya Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi

17/11/2014. Our project team organised a visit to Konya Chamber of Commerce. Our school director Mr. Hasan Demirbağ and project coordinator Mr. Ömer Tezel and 2 of our students attended the meeting. They met with the Chairman of Konya Chamber of Commerce Mr. Selçuk Öztürk. He was informed about the progress ,objectives of the project and the project activities done so far. We informed him about our partners and future plans. We wanted their support and cooperation about the project.

The Konya Chamber of Commerce (KTO) is a non-profit organization, representing the commercial and industrial companies in Konya and surroundings, and implementing commercial policies and market regulations. It assumes an intermediary role between local companies and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and institutions such as the Governorate and Municipalities, on issues related to professional occupational activities. KTO exerts a substantial effort aimed to increase the performances of the companies. Within this context, it organizes local and regional exhibitions, participates in national and international exhibitions, organizes professional training courses and furnishes entrepreneurs and managers with the information that may be required for their activities.

Konya Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi is a vocational school. It always works collaborativelywith the companies. The project One 2 One is directly related to the students’ capability. So KTO is an organisation can be a bridge between the companies and school.

13/11/2014 Our project team organised a visit to Meram Municipality. Our school director Mr. Hasan Demirbağ and project coordinator Mr. Ömer Tezel attended the meeting. They met with the Mayor of Meram Municipality Mrs. Fatma  TORU She was informed about the progress, objectives of the project  and the project activities done so far. We informed her about our partners and future plans. We wanted their support and cooperation about the project.

The opportunties of the Meram Municipality are Meram region is the heart of KONYA, National and international funds constitute a new resource to Municipality, The skill of institution project application is acquired for to use EU grants an increase of each year to our country. With this conscious our municipality establish  Local Development and EU Relations Centre with expert persons. EU Coordination Centre is guidance that citizens  who want to create the project.

Meram Municipality has been a Vocational Education Center since 2005. Meram Municipality vocational Education Center has about 700 students for one year. It has different courses from learning different languages to learning different abilities like that marbling, music and computer. Meram Vocational Education Center has 22 vocational trainers.

11/02/2015. We held teachers’ meetings in our school. There are 230 teachers and it is difficult to see all of them at the same time together. So the meetings are a chance for us to face to face communication. Mr Ömer Tezel made a presentation about the progress, activities, future plans  about the project.

One 2 One project is not only for the students or the teachers who are working for the project. This is for all the students and teachers. It is directly for them. So the projects activities and the results should be told to all the teachers. Teachers are also target group of the project who are going to implement the project.

15/01/2015. Dissemination material: leaflets, banner is preapared  to disseminate the aims and results of the project:

- Project leaflet in English

- Project leaflet in Turkish

Project Banner is used in all the international meetings and in relevant dissemination events and meetings . We produced  only one copy of the project banner. The leaflet has been released on the first year of the project containing a brief description of the project activities and its main objectives.
