25-06-2015. 7th International Conference Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence. Bucharest (Romania) In this edition of the conference, staff of University of Pitesti presented threeposters about the projectX developed in the one2one project:
  • Poster 1: Teaching electric motors’ starting methods in Lifelong Learning Programs
  • Poster 2: FPGA Implementation of Frequency Dividers in Vocational Education
  • Poster 3: Electrical Power Analysis Learning And Implementation In One2One Project
Authors included participants from Lycée Isaac Newton and Xabec Vocational Training Centre. The audience reached belong to academic environment, mainly university lectures and researchers The articles were published by IEEE, which is the most important academic organisation in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics. The works were selected for the proceedings of the conference:

Edu World 2014

7-11-2014. 6th International Conference Edu World 2014 “Education Facing Contemporary World Issues”, Pitesti (Romania)

Project partner University of Pitesti presented two posters at Edu World 2014;which is an important academic meeting in the educative area.

One poster presented the generalities of the one2one project, while the second one presented in detail one of the ProjectX developed by Univeristy of Pitesti.

After the conference, the two wokrs were selected to be published by the journal "Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences" by Elsevier.

ECAI 2014

23-10-2014. 6th International Conference Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence. Bucharest (Romania).  The ECAI is an international conference, relevant in the academic field of electronics and artificial intelligence.

Robert Beliou, Manager of the project from University of Pitesti presented a short conference about the Lifelong learning programme and Erasmus+ programme and the data of the Romanian case were contrasted with the data of other European countries.

One2one in Romania's TV

The University of Pitesti was the organizer of the second international meeting of one2one project. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the University contacted a local television to disseminate the project. The project director, Mr. Antonio Mir presented the aims and general objectives of the project and how it is aligned with the Euope 2020 strategy. Project Manager at Pitesti University, Mr. Robert Beliou presented the expected results and how the one2one project could be useful for the new system of vocational training in Romania.

The program is seen by teachers and students of the University of Pitesti, VET schools managers and general public.Romania is starting the vocational education system, so it is important to reach the management to show them examples of the benefits of European funded projects and give them the possibility to join the mobility network we are creating.

Regarding general public, it is important to inform about the advantages of the EU funded projects and the impact they have in their ordinary life. In the case of the one2one project, we stressed the importance of work based learning in VET and how it helps our students to be more competitive in the labour market. In addition, the ProjectX we will develop will boost the quality of international mobility of teachers and students, helping to develop an European sense in participants.
